Food Drive Success!

A group of children sitting on the floor in front of a large collection of canned goods and other food items, with various signs and posters visible in the background.

This past month, Pigeon River families have really shown what kindness and community spirit look like! Our halls were buzzing with generosity as students and families donated items for the local food bank — and wow, did you deliver!

A huge thank-you to everyone who contributed to our November food drive. Special shoutout to Mrs. Landgraf and her class for organizing the drive and to Mrs. Hopp and her class for keeping track of the impressive number of donations we received.

Here’s how many items each grade brought in:

  • Kindergarten: 187

  • 1st Grade: 112

  • 2nd Grade: 60

  • 3rd Grade: 52

  • 4th Grade: 133

  • 5th Grade: 182

  • Grand Total: 726 items donated!

🌟 Congratulations to our kindergarten classes for taking the top spot!
They’ll be celebrating with an extra recess with Dr. Ramos!

Way to go, Pigeon River — your kindness makes a difference!
